Dance Journey

• Began her dance training at the tender age of four.
• Graduate of The Governor’s School of the Arts in Norfolk, Virginia.
• Danced competitively at Maureen’s School of Dance.
• Graduated from VCU where she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance and Choreography.
• Performed in works by faculty Scott Putman and the renowned Urban Bush Women.
• Premiered her first work entitled BLK IS, which explores the black womanhood.

Life at B2D

• Joined the faculty in 2021.
• Teaches Ballet, Contemporary for adults and kids, coaches a Jazz competition team
